Sat, 30 December 2006  Over the last several years, our principal inspiration for exploring place-based storytelling more deeply has been the success of Murmur, the project of Shawn Micallef and Gabe Sawhney that uses cell phone technology to distribute stories about place. Their website, murmurtoronto.ca, has examples of most of their projects to date, including their recent project in San Jose. We spoke with Shawn about his experience in developing the project, and the lessons they have learned about creating these stories. |
